The Fresno Bonsai Society
“The Fresno Bonsai Society is a friendly group of hobbyists whose mission is to bring the beauty of this art form to the Fresno Community and to teach and improve our own skills. Bonsai trees, pre-bonsai plants, and accessories will be sold at our sales booth. Bonsai Club members will conduct mini demonstrations during the show to explain various techniques of Bonsai creation.”
Clovis Botanical Garden
“The Clovis Botanical Garden grew out of an idea presented to the Clovis City Council in 1993 by Gordon Russell. By 1995 legal non-profit status was granted to the Clovis Botanical Garden Committee, Inc.”
Mission Statement: “To promote water conservation in the California Central Valley landscape through excellent gardens, exhibits and programs that educate and inspire the public.”
Fresno Iris Society
“The Fresno Iris Society is a non-profit organization with members ranging from amateur gardeners to outstanding iris specialists. The Society is devoted to encouraging interest and further development of irises for the garden. The Fresno Iris Society is a member of a nationwide organization that was established in 1927.”
Fresno Cactus and Succulent Society
“The Fresno Cactus and Succulent Society will be selling thousands of cacti and succulents at this year’s Home & Garden Show. Members will be on hand to help you pick out the perfect plant and answer any questions.”
The Central CA African Violet Society
“The Central California African Violet Society (CCAVS) was formed to encourage people to grow beautiful violets. The Society will be selling plants for all three days of the Home and Garden Show. Members will also bring violets they have grown to display. Be sure to come by and chat with our friendly members!”
Central California Orchid Society
“A great way to learn about orchid care is to be with people who love orchids and grow them for fun. Our society is all about sharing knowledge and getting other people hooked on growing orchids. Come and join us at a couple of our meetings to see what we're about.”
Our 2025 Local Master Gardeners
Come learn from the experts on a variety of gardening topics! If you need help with a plant, bring a small piece in a sealed bag & the gardeners will help problem solve!
Master Gardener Association of Fresno County: “The University of California Cooperative Extension in Fresno County has an active group of nearly 300 Master Gardener Volunteers who support local educational programs in home horticulture by staffing a phone-in helpline, providing public educational classes and presentations, coordinating a Plant a Row for the Hungry program, maintaining a one-acre food production and ornamental demonstration garden, conducting plant clinics, and providing other educational opportunities.”
Kid’s Plant Potting Workshops
Stop by the Master Gardener’s Booth in The Garden Pavilion and attend a FREE Plant Potting Workshop for kids.
Youth Gardening Program Mission Statement: “Our goal is to educate the youth in our community in UC research-based gardening concepts, through fun, interactive, hands-on experiences.”
“Why teach youth to garden? Planning a garden, planting the seeds and watching them grow gives kids a sense of purpose and responsibility. Furthermore, studies show that when children have contact with soil during activities like digging and planting, they have improved moods, better learning experiences and decreased anxiety.”
Come by their booth, anytime during show hours, while supplies last. (Limit 1 plant & pot per child)
